Grand Coolie

Than it was a cool concert Staring Joe's mom and her two accordion students. :-)

The next morning wee were off to Leavenworth a small Bavarian town in the Washington mountains. We had a blast shopping, listening to more accordion music, playing with Grandpa Dave's new hat, and playing mini golf on a real grass golf course.

Wednesday we were off to Grand Coolie dam by way of Dry Falls. We went on the Dam Tour, than had a picnic dinner in the park while we waited for the laser light show to start.

Thursday found us hanging out with family and meeting our nephew and niece.

Friday we went to on of the local parks and tired to get a few good and fun pictures of everyone before we left to go home on Saturday. Organizing and getting 13 people to look at the camera all at the same time was quite a challenge. We did manage to get several good shots and I think everyone had a really good time. :-)

A bit of a Change.

So as most of you know I have pretty much fallen off of the face of the earth for the last 6 months or so. I have all but quit blogging and responses to e-mails have been spotty at best.

The frustrations of blogging on myspace got to be too much for me. I hated putting together a blog, with photos (I had to hand code in half the time as I use a MAC and MySpazz is not very MAC friendly), only to hit post and watch it all disappear, or worse have the text there but the pictures were all gone.

This sent me to go blog on blogger. Problem with blogger is that I can post only in public or private mode. In private no one else can read my blogs and in public every blog I write can be read by random strangers. I wanted a little more control over who gets a peep into my head so I have been searching for a good comprimise between My spazz and blogger. I came acrossed a place called wordpress. I can blog publicly, but for those blogs that I want to share only with friends and family I can add a password and only those with the password can see it.

So I am yet again moving my blog. I will be turning this one to private in about a week and than no one besides me will be able to read it. Essentially I will be shutting it off.
